The Greatest Abomination
It has always been a disadvantage for us to think that the enemy will “play” fair or that he will utilize something easy to “see”, discern, and understand. The enemy has always disguised his wicked manner of destroying mankind.
Among the many things, mankind has never understood are; there is an enemy, he seeks to destroy us, he will always deceive, for that is what he is… a deceiver.
The war between that which is good and that which is not, is barely understood and because it is something that has no immediate consequences, we will ignore it. An example of how mankind will ignore that which has no immediate consequences is the invention of GMO’s.
To expose, decipher and unmask the greatest abomination ever created by the enemy of mankind will require that we go back to the Old Testament and look at the commandment written there by the hand of God.
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them; for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,” (Exodus 20:4-5)
First, we should know that these commandments were given to mankind by God Himself and are laws by which all of mankind is to guide themselves… if they want to live. These laws are eternal, they will always be and will never change or be revoked.
Second, we should know, understand and apply the truth that even if we were born poor, miserable and wanting, that does not mean that this is normal, nor that it cannot be changed. We grew up in the mud, walked in it throughout our whole life and grew use to walking in the mud, that does not mean that we must accept this situation. We grew up in sin, live in a sinful manner all our live, no one ever told us this was wrong, we grew use to sin, it was our way of life, that does not mean this is normal, nor that we should accept such lifestyle. The light shines and we must accept such illumination and change. It is a commandment.
The Biblical change should be the main objective of all Christians who have been renewed by the Holy Spirit of God, The Word says: “You must give up your old way of life; you must put aside your old self, which gets corrupted by following illusory desires. Your mind must be renewed by a spiritual revolution so that you can put on the new self that has been created in God’s way, in the goodness and holiness of the truth.” (Ephesians 4:22-24) The Jerusalem Bible Readers Edition
(It is sad that the enemy has been able to change so much The Word of God)
The change in a Christian’s life is a battle, The Word says; “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the Leopard his spots? Then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.”
(From the book; The Immutable Grace of God)
If there is anyone who understands the laws of God, the word of God, in detail, it is the enemy of mankind. In his desire to destroy all of what God has created, he is insistent in twisting, altering and plain violating God’s commandments. Even when he hates all of God’s creation, he has a special hate for mankind. Mankind is God’s child, His special treasure, Mankind is the means by which God has become visible; taught, rectified and made Himself known.
From the early years of mankind, the enemy began his destructive mannerism, inducing mankind to violate God’s laws. In those times, mankind was very… ignorant. (that’s an understatement) Life was not what it is today, there was no technology, no comforts, no ease life. Mankind worshipped everything in sight. The Sun, the Moon, the waters, the sky, it was all up for worship.
God had spoken to mankind and there were those who new the truth, but there were many, many more who became twisted, altered and just plain violated the laws written in their conscious. The enemy knew that if mankind worshipped something other than God, they would be lost. So, mankind began to make images; images of just about everything their eyes contemplated.
The enemy knows that God is a jealous God.
To this day, mankind is still making images and worshipping these.
What is worship? Is an idol something we build? Or is it something we carry? Is it something we keep safe? Is it something we speak to? Is it something to which we are devoted? Is it something to which we are dedicated? Is it something we cannot live without? Something we think is important?
In the early years, the enemy induced mankind to fabricate images made out of wood, stone or metal. Later, these things lost some of their… luster. There was a need for something more wicked, something more deceitful, something more destructive. Something that would enslave them, something seductive, something all of mankind would worship.
The second Beast receives the diabolical “dishonor” of having created the image of the first Beast in a man named Philo T. Farnsworth, born in Holliday, Utah. It is today, the greatest creation in the worship of images.
(From the book: The Immutable Grace of God)
Philo Taylor Farnsworth (August 19, 1906 – March 11, 1971) was an American inventor and television pioneer.
Television works through images. These images move so fast through the screen in this machine that they become a moving image, but it is an image we are looking at. The image moves, speaks and seems to be alive.
“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” (The latter part has not happened yet.) (Revelation 13:15)
(The one who saw this revelation could not understand anything else but that this “thing” was alive. To him; it spoke, it moved, it must be alive.)
We know it isn’t.
In our “modern” days, this greatest of all abominations sits in the center of our “living” rooms, in every bedroom and all around the whole planet. We dedicate more of our time, more of our lives to worshipping this abomination than any other idol we possess.
The light of God shines upon this evil and unmasks the enemy’s destructive machine. It is the duty of those who profess to know God, to preach, teach and change their sinful manner.
For our God is a jealous God.
